Remember advice around the water cooler is always great to hear but not always the best to listen too.

All too often buyers lose focus on the big picture during the negotiation process. They ask for things, which is normal, but sometimes the sellers have an emotional attachment to items within the house that they just don’t want to give up. As buyers, keep in mind that those bar stools look great but are more important to the sellers than they are to you and letting them go may work out better for you in the long run.

Even though that home may have orange shag carpet or in need of a bathroom makeover, that home could still turn out to be a great home for you and your family.
